To accompany the sermon of April 18, 1999: A man bought a new cadillac. He was very proud of it, as all of us are when we buy a cadillac, and wanted to give it a proper blessing. To cover all bases, he called in a priest, a minister and a rabbi. The priest sprinkled holy water on the car and chanted a few phrases in Latin. The minister preached a 15 minute sermon and prayed long and eloquently over the car. The rabbi said a brief Hebrew blessing and cut off the tail-pipe.
